When we launched the podcast in March 2018, we didn’t know exactly what the future would hold but we took a leap. It’s been a steady build over the past few years and we’re so thankful for all our listeners and guests who have made this show an enriching and rewarding experience as we work collectively to help more people get access to real food.
Today on episode 100 of the Real Food Brands Marketing Podcast, host and Food Brand Strategist Katie Mleziva reflects on one hundred episodes, shares her motivation behind working with food business owners 1:1 as well as by building a community, and announces a giveaway to celebrate the milestone.
Enjoy the Present View
Katie shared a quote she likes “Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, that’s why they call it the present.” We are often so focused on the next thing in the future that we don’t stop to celebrate and appreciate how far we’ve come. Katie invites everyone to take a brief pause to not only help celebrate this milestone episode but also reflect on your present view and how far you’ve come.
As part of enjoying the present Katie shared that she is introducing a t-shirt collection to celebrate and inspire our collective impacts in the food system, no matter what your role or interest is in helping more people get access to real food. While we get these posted to the website for sale you can see the t-shirts on Instagram @realfoodbrands and DM Katie if you’re interested. Quantities per color and size are limited. Want a FREE t-shirt? Everyone who participates in the Brand Strategy Streamlined™ self-paced program or 1:1 Brand Strategy Jumpstart will get their choice of color/size to inspire their work.
Join the Real Food Brands Round Table Community
With a community 600+ strong, we’re recommitting to having a useful and lively conversation on the Real Food Brands Marketing Round Table. There are a lot of great communities focused on supporting food and beverage businesses, so we want to make sure we’re focused specifically on brand-building topics related to brand strategy where we are best positioned to can help you find success.
Katie will be posting topics to focus the conversation on brand strategy related topics like brand story, identifying your ideal consumer, customer experience, finding inspiration in unlikely places, and more. It’s all related to the define, align and activate process but it will be a mix of sharing concepts and inviting conversation to go deeper on the podcast episodes.
There is a song called Crowded Table that captures the essence of the warm, welcoming, driven, passionate community we are building. While Katie doesn’t sing the lyrics (only at home!) she did share a few lines of the song. You can find a link to the video below.
A Giveaway to Celebrate 100 Episodes
To celebrate 100 episodes, we’re giving away two spots in Brand Strategy Streamlined—one for you, and one for a food business friend you can use as an accountability partner. This is for people who are ready to clarify their positioning, create a relevant and compelling brand story, and create that North Star that leads people to the table you’re creating with your brand.
If you’re ready to get started and want to enter, head on over to Katie’s Instagram (@realfoodbrands) and follow the instructions to tag a friend.
Thank you for listening and while we’re still not sure exactly what the future holds for any of us yet, we believe it’s good. Together we can celebrate the present view while having confidence that our best ideas are yet to come.
Now, let’s go shake up shopping carts!
